• It barely makes a dent in solving the housing crisis.
• It unfairly pushes the burden onto outer boroughs.
• It fails to address the issues of substandard units and negligent landlords, especially in rent-stabilized properties.
• The process used to develop the plan may even be illegal.

I believe New York City deserves better. My centrist, common-sense housing plan will deliver over 50,000 units every year—not just 5,000—while respecting the unique needs of each borough.
