NEW YORK (June 26, 2025) — Jim Walden, the independent candidate for Mayor of New York City, on Friday is launching a bold $500,000 TV and digital advertising buy. The campaign’s largest media investment to date introduces Walden to voters across all five boroughs.

The 60-second ad, titled “Measure,” offers a powerful and deeply personal portrait of Walden’s life story and his decades-long fight for justice. From a difficult childhood to a career as a federal prosecutor taking down mob bosses, and later as a public interest litigator standing up to corruption and government dysfunction, Walden’s journey embodies the kind of integrity and leadership New York desperately needs.

Airing citywide, the campaign’s inaugural ad presents Walden’s anti-corruption message and bold vision for improving public safety, quality of life and affordability for all New Yorkers.

This ad buy marks the campaign’s first step in a broader, multi-phase communications rollout—designed to take Walden’s anti-corruption message directly to the voters who’ve been ignored for too long.
